La Secția Boli Infecțioase a spitalului, un număr de 31 de pacienți au fost tratați în acest an pentru boala Lyme, care se transmite prin mușcătura de căpușă. Unii dintre acești pacienți și-au continuat tratamentul început în anul anterior.

În plus, spitalul a primit și 12 persoane care au suferit reacții alergice în urma înțepăturilor de insecte, dintre care 8 erau adulți și 4 copii.
