‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ costume designer ‘disappointed’ in stars who attended Bezos-backed Met Gala 2026 - Page Six
The Met Gala 2026 theme may have celebrated “Costume Art,” but one high-powered costume designer wasn’t impressed. Legendary costumer Molly Rogers — who worked on “Sex and the City” and all its spinoffs, as well as on both “The Devil Wears Prada” movies — spoke on a panel at Fashionphile‘s New York flagship Wednesday morning, spilling secrets from set and admonishing those who attended the Jeff Bezos-sponsored ball. “I would not have gone,” Rogers declared. “I am disappointed in people who did go. I know Meryl did not go. I know others from our cast went, which is their prerogative.” Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci all hit the red carpet Monday night — as did Streep’s actress daughters, Grace Gummer and Louisa Jacobson. “I think the real artistry was the guy who was protesting outside,” added Rogers, when asked about the night’s “Fashion Is Art” dress code. Experience the Met Gala through the eyes of the front row — follow Page Six on Instagram to see every red carpet detail thanks to Ray-Ban Meta glasses, then shop the look to start filming your own POV. Panel host Amy Odell clarified that Rogers was referring to Chris Smalls, the Amazon Labor Union leader who was arrested in a commotion during his protest at the bottom of the Met steps. Rogers then skewered Bezos’s bride and her custom red carpet gown, quipping: “How did she make Schiaparelli look so cheap?!” Many Met regulars skipped this year’s ball, including Zendaya, Bella Hadid, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lady Gaga and Emily Ratajkowski. In April, a source told Page Six that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani would not attend, because “it goes against everything he believes in.” Streep has never been to the Met Gala, though she did appear on the May cover of Vogue — which is typically reserved for one of the event’s celebrity co-chairs — posing with Anna Wintour herself ahead of the theatrical release of “Devil Wears Prada 2.” Page Six exclusively reported that Sánchez and Bezos paid at least $10 million to sponsor the event, an amount that also earned them the titles of honorary co-chairs. Beyoncé, Venus Williams and Nicole Kidman all served as co-hosts alongside Wintour this year. The museum’s 2026 fashion benefit raised a record $42 million, up from last year’s record-breaking $31 million. All funds raised support the Anna Wintour Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The Pitt's Biggest Season 2 Plotline Is Something That Happens A Lot, Says A Real ER Doctor - TVLine

HBO The stakes are high on hit medical drama "The Pitt" — and the most intense Season 2 plot point for Noah Wyle and the rest of the cast is "not actually a rare circumstance" in the hospital system, according to a real emergency room doctor. Seeing the hospital's electronic medical records going down can create a strong reaction for real-life doctors watching "The Pitt." The show has seen its fair share of electronic medical records becoming inaccessible this season — specifically instances where the records needed to be turned off for fear of being hacked — but it turns out that the shutdown of electronic medical records can be somewhat routine for hospital staff.

We heard from a lot of folks all over the industry in the hours following word getting out that Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods had turned down the restructured contracts TKO/WWE wanted them to sign, deciding instead to exit the company. One person a lot of people were waiting to hear from didn’t say much, but the artwork the third member of New Day* shared on his Instagram Story yesterday spoke volumes to anyone familiar with comic book history.
