Vizionând 'The Weight', care a avut premiera mondială în seara aceasta la Festivalul de Film Sundance, am fost imediat amintit de tipul de film de aventură solid pe care studiourile îl foloseau pentru a atrage mari staruri, dar și de genul de film de epocă, plin de testosteron, pe care nu îl mai vedem atât de des.
